2-Part Workshop
Wednesdays February 19 & 26, 6-8 pm
From 1942-1945, more than 11,000 Japanese Americans were incarcerated at the Topaz internment camp near Delta, Utah. Topaz incarcerees circulated art, literature and opinion pieces in publications such as Trek and All Aboard. These publications share compelling, first-person accounts of life in wartime. In this workshop, we’ll explore the writing and publishing of Topaz incarcerees and we’ll create our own small-scale, do-it-yourself publications.
Location: CWC, 210 East 400 South, #8
